Upkeep helps you track recurring home maintenance. This page explains what information Upkeep stores, why, and how you can remove it.
We never sell your data, and we never share it with advertisers or other third parties. The only outside services involved are the ones that make sign-in and reminders work: Google and Apple (to verify who you are, if you choose social sign-in) and a push notification service (to deliver reminders you have opted into).
Upkeep only sends push notifications if you explicitly enable them. You can turn them off at any time in your device or browser settings, or by disabling notifications in the app, which removes your subscription from our records.
If you subscribe to your task list from a calendar app, Upkeep gives you a private link containing a long, unguessable token. Anyone with that exact link can see your task due dates, so treat it like a password. If you are ever concerned it has leaked, you can reset it from Settings, which immediately invalidates the old link and issues a new one.
You can permanently delete your account at any time from within the app. Deleting your account removes your tasks, completion history, notes, push subscriptions, and profile information from our systems. This action cannot be undone.
Your data is stored on servers we control and is never used to train AI models. Passwords are never stored for social sign-in accounts, since we verify identity directly with Google or Apple.
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top of this page.
